To convert a stationary crib side into a drop side, you will need 2 of these pairs for the top, two part id 148 and two part id 369. Upper hand release is a spring loaded handle at both ends of the top rail of the drop side. Hand release slides on upper track and stops when the metal tooth locks-in at a square opening of the track.
